Photos to be loaded......

It's getting more obvious

On Thursday 21/Aug, 4 of my colleagues asked me if I'm preggie in one same morning.
The first who asked, is my group's colleague who asked while we were walking back together from breakfast. Question : In cantonese "ah... lei yau cho hai mm hai?"
Coming back to the office, I handed over my Medical Leave Cert to my dept secretary. Over the tall dividing partition, she asked me, in Malay : "Amoi, you ada orang dalam you ke?"
Then, while walking out from my office, met two of my other colleagues, both guys walking on the opposite direction, one of them was looking at me and tummy and asked, in cantonese "hmm, hoi chi dai cho ke?" The colleague next to him continued by saying something like "I also notice it, just that I did not wanna ask".

So, well.... BB / tummy speaks for herself. :) But I guess it would be better for me to break the news to my lady boss rather than she hearing from others. But how to tell ? No opportunity to approach her for a business talk, not to mention now, a casual talk.

Week 15++ --> Boy / Girl week

Aug 12, I visited Dr Wong for antenatal check for week 15++, 3 months plus.

As usual this is a normal check up but at this time of the pregnancy I'm required to do a blood test, which will help to determine my redblood cell level, HIV affected or not and several others.

I lie on the bed for the ultrascan, then I could see this time, my BB is upside down, BB's head is pointing downwards and the limbs are upwards. Can see BB's backbone clearly. The scan picture is not good enough to see BB's head.
This time around, BB measures 81.3mm.

As for myself, my body weight increased to 52kg. This means 2kg increase from the previous month.

My waist size is 31inch now. hehe.... kinda out of shape already. Overall now I can't go to work with my usual working clothes, but had to start wearing the looser types or the maternity top. Over the last weekend, I got from flea markets 3 loose tops - free size. Good enough to go work.

Dr Wong put the transducer to another spot on my tummy, he focused on another side of the BB and guess what... it is the lower part of BB, in which BB's gender can be well determined. Since BB is upside down, the image is clear enough to tell BB's gender. And Dr also said, 90% accurate.

Dr Wong asked me, what do I see.....
I say I don't know.
Anderson say Nothing.
hehe... Dr Wong say nothing = Hamburger.

So, what hamburger means ???? :)

Over that night Anderson has been in a quiet mode. I can see that his emotion has definitely changed after learning on the gender. Well, he had a preference earlier, so for this, he would have got a surprise. But who asked him to be so positively thinking of the other gender ?

Well, he say he would prefer the other gender for the first BB, but doesn't matter and will love the current one as much. Of course, when seeing him quiet, I'm sad. I was really really sad. I'm afraid he will not put in the same amount of attention and eagerness towards me and the BB anymore.

But he assured me at night, he was only surprised and shock of the news more over he did not expect to learn on BB's gender at this week, this visit. He will always love the BB.

This week, I'm continued with Sangobion, and Calcium pills.

BB bottles

Last Saturday, we went to Atria's BB shop to see for some BB items.
Since there's a sales going on, I decided to get some BB milk bottles.

My colleague told me about the B-free brand her newborn uses and it suits her a lot especially it is anti-colic.
Before this also, I read that some brands contains Bisphenol-A (BPA) a chemical substance used in all polycarbonate plastics. BPA may not transfer into liquid/food, and some study have shown so. Avent's bottles are polycarbonate. I was doubtful if i should get Avent. Because I have seen my SIL using it and I thought it is a trusted brand.

Anyway after comparing, Anderson decided to get B-free anti colic bottles. This is also BPA free. It comes with a sucking straw inside. I still do not know how this will work. :P (Dr Brown also have this same concept bottles).
We got a pair at retail price RM55.90 , entitled for 20% less.
9oz/250ml per bottle. Kinda big... but this is the only size the have.
One reason Anderson decided on that is because he says the teats are softer. haha......

At the same time too, I got some breast disposable pads also. It's on sale, so why not. buy one box free one box, for only RM27.
The bluebag in the picture is what Anderson got home few days ago. It's a cooler bag, so ideal for storing milks when going out.
This is redeemed from Bonuslink with 3000pts.
We saw similar bags in BB shops, and it cost over Rm100 at least.

My Tummy at Week 12 beginning

Can anyone tell me is this my spare tyre or is this the BB bump ???? hehe

Bird nest for the first time

Yesterday I had my first birdnest during pregnancy - 2nd trimester.
Mom got the stock for me - like over 30++ pieces at RM800.

However yesterday I boiled my old stock. Seeing that 1 piece is so small - i guess it shrinked - i put in 2.5pieces..... wow... end up a lot!!!!!!!!
I had to share it with Anderson else it will be really too much for me.

I only boiled birdnest itself. Then add in rocksugar. Later part, at night - the balance, i put in few pieces of pousam. :)
